No, your membership is only valid with the NOGs.

Yes, you join the NOGs for a year.

Can I borrow maps if I want to go on my own walk?2025-04-29T08:38:41+00:00

Yes. A small number of maps are available to borrow. Please contact the chairperson. You must be a paid up member of the group before you can borrow any maps. The borrower is responsible for returning the map to the keeper in the same condition as it was hired out. Leaders/Organisers will of course take priority.

For all outdoor events, please meet at either the location detailed in order to share transport or at the location described by the walk leader/organiser.

Yes, we have Public Liability Insurance. This is NOT personal injury insurance. For more details contact our secretary

Yes, prospective members are very welcome to come on up to 3 events before joining the group, but if you wish to go on a weekend away, you must pay an extra £2.50 surcharge per night, per person.
